Recently, ASTC - AS Test and Certification Tech (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. successfully passed the rigorous review by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), thanks to its outstanding technical capabilities and professional services. The company has now been officially added to the pre-qualification list for "Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVOC) Partners" and is approved to provide relevant standard services in Zone 1 – China.

The pre-qualification project number is KEBS/PRE-Q/T006/2025/2028. ASTC's successful selection from a competitive field of applicants demonstrates that its professional competence in international certification, inspection, and testing has once again been recognized by an authoritative international body.

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), one of the most influential standardization bodies in East Africa, is a member of several international organizations, including the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Its PVOC program is a mandatory compliance procedure for goods imported into Kenya, ensuring they meet the country's national standards and technical regulations.

Following its successful shortlisting, ASTC - AS Test & Certification will be able to provide Chinese manufacturers exporting to Kenya and other East African Community (EAC) countries with one-stop compliance verification services, including product testing, on-site inspection, and certification. This will significantly streamline the export process for Chinese enterprises and reduce trade risks.
